What patterns do passing waves produce?
Where do extra high waves form and where are they extinguished?
These plastic discs show both circular and linear waves. The interference pattern can be seen clearly when two discs are placed one on the other. Blacked out areas indicate nodes where the sum of the waves is always "zero". How does the interference fringe pattern change when the relative distance of the sources of oscillation change and what is needed to create bulges in a point?
Contents: 2 x plastic discs (1 x transparent and 1 x white) with circular and linear waves.
Dimension: 20x30 cm.
