Besides its high resolution, this model has a "Back-illuminated Sony Sensor" that requires less light and gives better colour reproduction. Mount the camera on your microscope with a C-mount or use the optical adapter for mounting in the eyepiece holder or trinocular tube. Then connect the camera to a computer and use the software supplied to bring up the image on the screen. Images can then be saved and edited. If calibrated, measurements can also be taken via the image.
