Pedagogical model that can be used to demonstrate both motor and generator.
As a motor, the model is powered by direct current, up to 12 V DC. With a simple switch, the model can be used as a generator instead and can then generate direct current or alternating current as you choose.
The set-up consists of horseshoe magnet, commutator, collection ring, power collector, drive wheel with belt (for powering the generator).
