A simple, classic demonstration of physics.

Roll the ring and the disc down a sloping table at the same time. Even though they weigh the same and are the same size as each other, one of them rolls away more quickly than the other. This is because of the distribution of mass in the cylinders. What happens if you roll them alongside one another on the floor instead?
Also have a go at spinning round on an office chair with your arms and legs stretched out, then suddenly pull them in - do you see any difference?
