Fascinating in its simplicity – but how does it work?
Assemble the fountain using the special cork, the two tubes and two PET bottles.
Water flowing from the upper bottle to the lower bottle seems right on an intuitive level, but why is water spraying/bubbling/welling up through the upper tube?
Experiment! What if there’s no bottom in the upper bottle? What happens if we remove the tube in the lower bottle?
Materials: Plastic.
Parts: Special cork and two tubes, 27 cm long. Plastic bottles not included.
