13 different expressions are given on the 13 hearts cards. The same 13 expressions also appear on the diamonds cards, but in a different order and specified in a different way. The same goes for spades and clubs.
The first job might be to pair up the cards which represent the same expression, one of every colour.
A popular game with these cards is the classic game "Happy Families", which has simple rules. You have to get rid of your cards as quickly as possible by pairing them up in different ways with the card lying on the table.
