What is the pattern of this sequence?
The deck contains 56 cards in groups of four colours. Each of the 14 red card shows a pattern. The green cards present the patterns as a number sequence showing the first four numbers. What is the fifth number, F5? The blue cards show how to find F5 and the yellow cards show what F5 equals.
A starting task could be to find the 14 sequence groups (one card of each colour) that belong together.
A more advanced task could be to find a formula for calculating the nth number in any of the sequences.
The formula of the sequence shown is Fn = 2 + 2n.
The deck also contains two extra cards with the key of the 14 correct sequence groups and the 14 correct formulas.
