See the colours of the rainbow - from red to violet.
White light is a mix of colours with wavelengths between approximately 400 nm (violet) and 700 nm (red). The colours are visible in the rainbow, where the white light from the sun is refracted by the water droplets and splits up into a spectrum. LED spectrum demo is a model that makes visible the fact that white light, the top LED, is a mixture of colours, the ten bottom LEDs.
You can switch on one LED at a time or all of them at once.
