Product description

The world-famous single board computer from the BBC makes it easy to start programming. Updated with, for example, microphone, speakers and touch sensor. Complete package with USB cable, battery holder and batteries.

With micro:bit in the classroom, it is easy to get started with programming. The software is free and is used directly in the browser. Create a program and transfer it to the micro:bit, to see if it works in the way you intended. Because micro:bit can be programmed in many different programming languages, it is easy to find a level that is appropriate for everybody, regardless of previous knowledge. Inexperienced programmers can start with micro.bit's own block-based editor, while experienced programmers can program in text-based JavaScript or Python. Version 2 has more memory and can deliver more power, simplifying the use of some accessories. Quick start guide and programming suggestions enclosed.
