You can perform classic educational demonstrations using the pump plate, a vacuum bell jar and a vacuum pump.

Place a vacuum bell jar on the pump plate and use a vacuum pump to extract air. Any sounds from inside the jar go quiet, marshmallows "grow" and empty balloons expand...
There is a rubber gasket on the pump plate for sealing against the glass tank.

Material: Metal.
Tube connection for 8 mm tube.
Valve.
