An amazing and simple heat conduction experiment.
This kit comprises two plates, one made of aluminium and the other made of plastic. The aluminium plate has high thermal conductivity, while the plastic plate conducts heat less effectively. One plate feels cold and the other feels hot. When you place a piece of ice on each plate, one will melt considerably more quickly than the other. This phenomenon is explained in the guide supplied.
